Day 1
Arrival — Check In & Unwind
You're met at Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport and driven to your hotel, where the rest of the day belongs to you. The resort facilities are yours: the pool, the beach, the bar, a quiet spot with a book. Dinner in the evening at the hotel.

Day 2
North Mauritius — Port Louis & Pamplemousses Botanical Garden
The Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam National Botanical Garden in Pamplemousses is the natural starting point — one of the oldest botanical gardens in the Southern Hemisphere, with giant Victoria Amazonica water lilies, 85 species of palm, and giant Aldabra tortoises. From Pamplemousses, continue into Port Louis for the market, old town streets and the harbour waterfront.

Day 3
Leisure Day — The Island at Your Own Speed
The first of two free days. No guide, no transfer, no timetable. Mauritius is excellent at occupying a free day without any effort — the beach tends to fill the hours in ways you don't anticipate. Local buses, taxis and nearby villages are all easy to explore independently if you'd like more structure, or simply stay put.

Day 4
South Mauritius — Grand Bassin & Chamarel Seven Coloured Earth
Grand Bassin, also known as Ganga Talao, is the first major stop — a sacred Hindu lake in a former volcanic crater deep inside a forested area. From Grand Bassin, continue to Chamarel for the Seven Coloured Earth — volcanic minerals creating seven distinct colours that have never been shown to mix despite centuries of tropical rain.

Day 5
Île aux Cerfs — Full Day on the Island
A speedboat ride off Mauritius' east coast brings you to Île aux Cerfs — a small island inside one of the most beautiful sheltered lagoons in this part of the Indian Ocean. The day is yours to spend however makes sense: swim, walk the island, find a quiet spot and do absolutely nothing.

Day 6
Second Leisure Day — Whatever You Didn't Get Round to Yet
A second free day. Use it however it calls to you — back to a corner of the island you wanted more time in, the spa, or genuinely nothing at all. Dinner this evening is your last full night at the resort.

Day 7
Departure
A final breakfast, then check out and private transfer to Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport. Seven days that moved between the highlands, the capital, the reef, a desert island and two completely free afternoons.
